Aches and Pains

I woke yp this morning and my knee is killing me. So is my shoulder.  Stabbing pains in my shoulder.  My knee hurts to put weight on it.  It doesn't really worry me, because I just put it down to getting older. 

But it did make me think how we react to pain.  For me, I dont have a fear of anything that has joint pain as a symptom.  But if this were anywhere below my neck or above my waist, it probably would have me fairly anxious. 

Other people might have a pain in their side and not worry about it, but be certain that the pain I am having is an indicator that they will be dead in six weeks.  (Or six minutes).

There is no point to this post really, just something I thought of walking back to my desk.

I understand. I no longer have much concern for the muscle and nerve symptoms of anxiety either, especially as it relates to the joints and limbs.  And I've had plenty.  Unfortunately, like you, I've been obsessing more over the head (mostly oral cavity), neck, and abdomen.
