Hey there Ladies really freaking myself out.
« on: March 05, 2013, 06:52:13 PM »
Well I posted yesterday about taking Provera cause I have missed my cycle for the 2nd time....I have only taken one dose so far and I started to cramp really bad a few hours after taking it.... I haven't taken my second dose because I have scared myself thinking something is really wrong with my stomach now.... I have been having bad stomach pains.... I was fine today at work just some cramping off and on but I had not eaten all day so when I got home I ate and then my stomach really has started to hurt and I am scaring myself thinking something is really wrong.... Not sure if the pain is from me trying to still get my cycle or what.... I just know I have totally freaked my self out... B-;  I hate when I get like this I really just wish my cycle would start and things could be back to normal for me in that department.... I have seen the Dr on Feb 19th and she said that the ultra sound and blood work all came back fine.... So why am I freaking out I think its just this pain in my stomach and I hate it and then the more I think about it the more it seems to hurt.....If anyone reads this can you please help calm me down.... any words of encouragement would be very helpful... My anxiety is going crazy right now.....   Thanks again for listening..... Many Blessing to all of you

Blessings

I am not a lady but I will venture a guess.  You are freaking out about the pain in your stomach because you are thinking, "What if it doesn't stop"  These things typically resolve on their own.  But it is the what if, and uncertainty that have you freaking out.
Pain is scary to all HA people.  It means to us, "Something is really wrong".  To other people, it is "This pain in my stomach is bothering me, I can't wait until it goes away"

I am not a doctor, just speculating.  Because pain in my stomach freaks me out too.  And I will notice everey twinge for days after the pain goes away.

Hi!

I've taken Provera many times because of missing cycles and ovarian cyst. You are having cramps because the Provera forces your body to have a cycle. You probably won't bleed until your almost done, or completely done with the pills (ten days) right?
No worries..it's just doing what it's supposed to. It made me nauseous as well and kinda irritable. I am the queen of female problems. I have fibroids, cyst and endometriosis . So I e been through it all ;)
