Suddenly got tired!
« on: March 05, 2013, 12:25:59 PM »
Just got home from a walk which went fine. Now though I got suddenly tired. Tiredness + swollen lymph nodes is what started my health anxiety  about 18 months ago.
What I really need to find out is what is real cancer fatigue. I have no problems about moving around and getting out of bed - that doesn't sound like cancer anxiety.

Hey Baldrick, from my understanding cancer fatigue is debilitating. It makes you completely exhausted all of the time. You may be tired from anxiety, just walking can sometimes make you tired if you aren't used to it. I know when I am anxious I am exhausted!

It is sometimes difficult to get what we know is true in our head when your anxiety is fighting hard to tell us something else! Go listen to some music, relax, all the things you always tell me to do. Just tell yourself that you are having anxiety/OCD thoughts and just because you are thinking them doesn't mean they are true.
