at one point some years ago I went from zoloft to lexapro, it was not difficult but I was doing well anyway though the zoloft still bothered my stomach and had the obvious sexual side effects.  On lex the sexual side effects were if anything worse the first month, then got better.   It worked well for years, I am on it again but still not where I need to be, so I don't know if I will continue with it or switch back to Zoloft or something else (or try again to get to 20 mg, I take 15 now, 10 worked well before when I was on it last).  So the switch you propose is possible and may not be difficult, though we all differ, of course.

Zoloft to Lexapro or Celexa?

Lexapro and Celexa contain the same active isomer of citalopram (Celexa also contain the much less active one too), however, I lean toward Celexa mainly because it has a wider dose range which allows for more options when tapering on/off it. But you might as well flip a coin.

NOTE: I'm not a doctor, and particularly not yours, so there may be factors I'm unaware of. Therefore all advice is of a general nature and you should consult your doctor before following any of it, especially before changing med doses.
