holy anxiety ....
« on: March 04, 2013, 08:14:14 PM »
I've been trying to get a job for a while now. My fiance works 24 hour shifts so I have my boys all the time. I'm getting really stressed. Today has been bad. Constant panic attack. My heart feels weird, I'm lightheaded and dizzy, I have this fear of a brain bleed because I have random head pains, I'm really hot. Ugh. Anyone else have constant anxiety like this?!

Well, I don't anymore, but I used to.

Having to take care of kids 24/7 without being able to contribute financially to your home situation certainly does sound stressful. In all this time that's spent taking care of others, are you spending any time for yourself to simply relax? I'm sure you've been through all the typical HA testing—did your doctor find anything? What do they say, if anything, about your anxiety? Do you have any kind of anxiety treatment in place? Are you resisting the urge to google your symptoms?

I know things are hard right now, but the key to feeling better is in YOUR hands, and you must take up the mantle of recovery yourself. It ain't easy, but it's possible.

In case anyone is still confused:  googling your symptoms will cause you to remain in a state of extreme anxiety. Stepping away from the internet is the first step toward lasting peace.

I have been to my doctor and she's done a bunch of blood testing and I'm guessing everything was okay. She says it's all anxiety. I've been to my  optometrist and ear nose and throat doctor who said everything looks fine, minus the fact I have to get my tonsils  out. I've been going to a counselor for about 2 months now. Other than that I try to stay busy and remind myself that it's all anxiety.

My doctor told me that stress in your shoulders, neck and back can cause headaches, head pains and all
kinds of weird head sensations.
