Does a leg ultrasound show blood clots in foot?

I got a leg ultrasound last week and it all came back fine. but now I'm wondering if maybe the blood clot was in my foot. Since I have some swelling in my veins on one foot and pain the dr said was plantar fascitis, I'm worried maybe the pain is from a clot and the ultrasound didn't catch it because they only checked my legs??

to my knowledge if one had a clot in the foot and an US was given on the leg, it wouldn't pick it up.  However I am not a medical pro or an US tech....

however, again, I don't think it is likely you have a clot anyway.  I believe it is your anxiety disorder that is allowing you to jump to catastrophic conclusions.  I mean you had an actual doctor give an opinion on what he thought your issue was in your foot.  he obviously didn't think blood clot..... 

are you doing anything to address your anxiet disorder?  All of the catastrophic thinking tends to go away when we get serious about fixing the mental issue
