Anxiety makes you twitchy! I've had twitchy fingers, twitchy hands, and even the whole side of my mouth twitch from anxiety before. It happens when I'm excited too. Unless it's constant and last for weeks, it's nothing to worry about. And even then, you're probably just suffering from bad stress.

About 4 weeks ago my left hand ring finger began twitching...but not just twitching, it was kind of twisting to the side as it twitched. It scared me to death, and is actually what started my spiral back down into HA. It lasted about 12 hours and then stopped. It hasn't done it anymore since then, but my feet and hands momentarily spasm about every 5-10 minutes, and I have a lot of those little bubble spasms in my legs and calves....ALL ANXIETY I am sure! I am really working on taking the emotion out of the twitching so I dont' focus on it, but man it is so hard!

I twitch as a result of antidepressant medications as well as anxiety.  Fingers, toes, calves, abdomen, inside of nose, tongue, eyelid...annoying and super-common.  There have been times when I've actually tried to physically hold the twitch down to make it stop bugging me, LOL.

I just want to point out that anxiety symptoms can and do last months to years and I tend to forget that I what I think of as feeling like weeks is usually much longer. And if you're having issues like this for weeks, there is very very likely nothing wrong with you. And I have no idea if there is way to edit that post or anything. I just don't want to alarm anyone.

I'm a twitcher too! When I'm not feeling so anxious, I can just ignore them because that's what people do, twitch and shake and shimmy. However, as I'm a bit anxious at the moment, my twitching fingers are causing me some distress. I do have a shake but I think (hope) it's that I've tuned into my natural 'shake' and my anxiety is accentuating it.
