My doc just started me on 100mg gabapentin 3x daily and I've felt so off all day. Idk if it's new med anxiety or a side effect..  Severe dr/dp and i felt faint like my heart was slower then usual, idk...

I also kinda just started 20mg celexa
Take .5mg klonopin 3x daily
And 25mg trazodone at night

I've taken a few meds that made me feel so off and it was the lowest dose. I had to take half or a quarter. So it may be that it's too much? I felt out of it. Like reality wasn't reality. Numb. When I ate I felt like my mouth was heavy. It was a really freaky experience.

Talk to your doctor about what you feel though for sure.

20mg Lexapro. Does anyone have any ideas on what can help along with it? I heard there's stuff you can take to help strengthen the positive effects. Not dim out the negative, but just make the positive better. Maybe I'm just getting wrong info.

I've just started on Gabapentin (200mg BID) for anxiety and the jury is out.  I have a job that requires that I'm at the front of my mental game (lives depend on it) and Gabapentin made me feel like I was high all day.  Like I was working on too little sleep.  That is a dangerous situation for me and my colleagues.  Does this ever go away?  I'd like to curb my anxiety, but not this way.

I have been on effexor for a few months and it makes me "numb".  I hate the medicine.

I started Lexapro but took myself off it after just a month as I felt it was making things worse. My doctor suggested upping the dose which made no sense to me so I then turned to natural therapies which worked. The effects took longer to notice but worked long term with no possible side effects to my health  :winking0008:

I joined a gym
Change my diet cutting out processed & refined sugars
Limit alcohol if not stop
Use natural aromatherapies around the house
Illuminate as much stress as possible ( that even meant ending some emotionally draining friendships & replacing them with more positive people).
Mediate, yoga & Pilates are great too
Give yourself time to do things you enjoy & stay mentally occupied with hobbies or tasks.

Of coarse its not as simple as this but my anxiety is more under control now.
