Anxiety and your kids
« on: February 01, 2013, 11:48:39 PM »
Does anyone have children .... And find you focus your anxieties toward them? My 6 yr old son will mention his leg hurts, and my mind will say bone cancer. Headache = brain tumor. Mouthful = choking (i still cut his food and don't allow him hard candy!).  The worst is now he is in a ski school every Saturday and I fret all day long that he will fall off the lift or someone will crash into him. I do all I can do not to voice my concerns all the time so he or think I am a total freak, rather bottle them up inside and make myself sick. :(

Littlebird I am with you. I am obsessed with my girls every pain and ache. And I always think the worst. I am so relieved when they are home from going on a trip or just simply going into town. I have gotten so bad I am now on meds. It helps but I hate meds so much I feel so drugged out. But I have to take them. I know I cannot live anymore of my life in HA misery.
