More Symptoms
« on: January 31, 2013, 06:43:59 PM »
Hello Everyone

I am back again. As it appears more symptoms have emerged since I last posted. The dizziness, unsteadiness, and faint feeling when I am standing up is back (though  have yet to blacken out). I even seem to be getting dizzy with the scrolling of my computer. My body seems to be getting more and more rigid, and I have constant muscle pain in my neck. I also have on and off tingling in my face and arms.

The one symptom that has me exceptionally worried is the new double vision. I am having monocular diplopia. I went to see an opthomologist who ruled out neurological symptoms (considering the image goes away with the pinhole test). Are there any neurological diseases that can cause refractive errors? I know some (like prion diseases) will stay in the lens and cornea for years before being triggered, or am I once again just being overly sensitive?

The first set of symptoms you noted (dizziness, etc) are classic anxiety symptoms. What does your opthamologist say about your vision symptoms?

He said not to worry about it as he cant find any neurological signs. This being said, I also have another sign- I cant stop eating. A month ago I was having problems with no appetite, now they have completely reversed. I swear I am loosing weight (I can see it o my face) yet my scale says I am stable. Isnt vCJD symptoms also include increased appetite? I do suffer from IBS and acid reflux, but I have not seen increased appetite as a symptom in medical literature.

Are sinus/allergy or inner ear problems a possibility? I have a lot of the same symptoms as you and a few more. I found out I have chronic sinus issues as well as some issues with my inner ear. It causes me dizziness, unsteadiness, fatigue, headaches, vision issues, etc.

Because of the inner ear issues things like movement of the computer screen (or for me movement in a car, people moving etc) gets worse. I also get a lot of stiffness and pain in my body which my physiotherapist and chiropractor say are a result of my body constantly fighting to steady itself. Then the neck pain. I get that because I (unconsciously) keep my neck still to keep from getting dizzy. I also always look down when walking for the same reason. My neck is sore because it's always kept in the same position.

I also get tingling, but tend to think that is all my anxiety.
