someone please calm me down
« on: January 31, 2013, 06:33:43 PM »
I've had these head pains in my head for a while now. It's in the same spot. Only happens when I bend down or turn my head funny. I'm TERRIFIED it could be a brain aneurseum. I'm scared to do anything like pick somethingheavy up because it could rupture.

I have had head pains in one area of the head that has lasted for days. Its nit an uncommon thing. The reason it hurts more if you bend over or strain is because more blood flow hits that nerve and makes it hurt worst. Anything more serious than that would be a completely different type of pain that would be so bad, you would have to go to the ER.

I want to say it's been a few months I've had this pain. I feel so uncomfortable. Could tension or anything really cause this?

I 100% agree with JunoX. You don't give much detail about your pain, but a brain aneurysm is most often PAINLESS (because there are no pain sensors within your brain). Stress is the most common cause of headaches, due to subconsciously clenching facial muscles (like the muscles around your temples). Try taking 2 tylenol, that should help. But as far as your worry about an aneurysm, you can stop bc that is DEFINITELY not it. Hope this helps.

P.S. I'm a medical student, so take my advice as your will.

It's like a dull pinching feeling, always in the same spot.
