does anyone have these symptoms?
« on: January 26, 2013, 04:11:19 AM »
To start extreme brain fog.
Sharp pains in random spots in my brain.
Burning sensation.
Dizziness.
Light headed.
Sensitive to light and sound, gives bad head aches.
A weird ache in the back of my head.
The ache and brain fog is always there everything else is random.
It's worse if i do anything besides lay in bed on my back. If i turn on my side I'm dizzy.
I also hyperventilate a lot.

When I'm asleep or wake up for a few second at night i kinda feel nothing but the fog, but other then that it's all the time pain. I have no insurance, but would love an MRI..

Who has these symptoms or had these and how do i make it stop? :(

I've had a number of these symptoms. Many of them are caused by the hyperventilation. Even when you aren't officially hyperventilating, you are most likely over breathing. This all kind of makes you hyper alert and aware ofevery little thing your body is doing.  To get rid of them you need to try to reduce your anxiety. If you can also distract yourself somehow, that will help. Lying in bed and focusing on them will only make them worse.

I try to tell myself that, but it's never really anything else. It's always my brain..  The pain is so bad :(
And if i get out of bed it just seems to be worse.

 a brain doesn't feel pain.

all the things you list are part and parcel of anxiety disorder.

what do you do for your thinking disorder?  what is working?  what isn't?  what are you willing to do to get better?  getting better takes a whole helluva lot of commitment, patience, time and then some more commitment , patience and time.  Are you up for the challenge?

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.

Yeh I have most of these symptoms---neuro exams and MRI were clear by the way.  Migraine and anxiety cause these things definitely.  Both treatable.
