Does anyone get a burning sensation

Mostly in brain, but sometimes throughout my body. What is it? I mean besides possible anxiety. Nerves inflamed or what? It sucks so bad.... So painful

I would check in with my doctor but from your brief description, it does sound as if your anxiety may be overstimulating your nervous system but I am not a professional . . . do you do anything that seems to have a calming effect? meditation? distractions? Do check in with your doctor because s/he may be able to refer you to some type of community-based or individual counseling that will help you to manage these sensations . . .take care, kc

The burning does go away, but i do always have a weird dizzy feeling inside.

Yes! I post about this frequently. I am convinced that I have the dreaded fibromyalsia and will be stuck with this for life, but my doctor tells me I don't fit the criteria (don't have the tender points and fatigue) and that it is just stress and anxiety with a little depression mixed in.  The pain can travel and feels like I have little bee stings under my skin. Sometimes even just clothes on my skin is bothersom. After a few days of this, my joints can start to hurt. It is awful and I feel for you! A low dose of amytriptolin and lyrica has helped just a little. Good luck to you.

I get burning sensations that move from one spot to another after lasting seconds. My Dr. says its anxiety as I have I had a neurological exam. I comes and goes. As soon as one symptom stops another starts.

When I am having a great deal of anxiety or when I have a panic attack I experience a burning sensation which is usually confined to my arms. i think this is do to the adrenaline pooling in that area. even after the panic attack is over and the anxiety subsides the burning sensation will remain for quite some time after. i usually try to rub my arms or move them around a bit to try and get rid of it.

I get a burning/painful sensation on my right shoulder blade. I've never had it in my brain though.

yes! I get it all the time in my feet.  I have had a neurological exam and MRI's and all that and my GP (who I really trust) says its anxiety.  its actually quite common. my feet feel like ice then feel sunburnt. sometimes I feel it in my hands too.  apparently if you try not to focus on it it will subside ....
if only it was that easy...

Mine is mostly in my head, but sometimes moves throughout my body. I have like non Stop migraines too, if you can call this agonizing pain a migraine.. Dizzy a lot and flashing lights seem to make it worse at times.

I get a burning sensation towards the top part of my arms/shoulder....so it's not just you! Hope that makes you feel better knowing you are not alone~

No i use to get it in my head all the time, it would start in my head and go through my body, and at times it would just be in my head, It would always scare me and it seem to happen when i was laying down more, but at other times as well, I had like the others burning sensation all over my body to where my clothes would bother me so bad, its anxiety,

I get it all over. It started in my head. Adrenaline rushes.
