Newbie, Full, Hero Member?

I'm guessing these distinctions are based on the number of posts we have?  Does it have to do with the number of recs?  I'm just wondering if a "Hero Member" means they are more active on the site?  Is there some kind of a number scale for this?

Just a random wondering.

Got to do with posts. Is nothing really. You could 10,000 posts and be the same hero member as someone with 500 posts. Just something most forums add in. Nothing important about it at all. The RECs are posts other members like. I guess it is more a credit to the poster. As really you have no idea what posts have earned you the RECs. Just means people like your posts.
