Anal Cancer
« on: January 17, 2013, 08:56:33 PM »
This is my new worry!! I've had blood on the TP and streaked on my BM.  I'm having a bit of pain when I go. It feels scratchy. I'm a 36 yo female. I'm now scard I have anal cancer. I've had bleeding here and there for years, and never thought much about it till now. I have a GYN appointment Monday, so I am gonna ask him to take a look.

I keep reading online how drs often misdiagnose anal cancer as hemmorhoids.  I'm scared, and tired of being scared. I did test positive for HPV a few years ago with a Pap smear. O had a procedure done and my last few Pap tests were normal.  Never had anal sex.  :spineyes:It still worries me though.

Help  :(

Anal cancer is extremely rare.  Have your doctor check for internal hemorroids or fissures.

Thanks Linda.

Anxiety can be so exhausting. Sometimes by the end of the day I feel like I've run a marathon.

I second Linda. Internal haemorrhoids or anal fissure sounds like a big possibility.
