Sure, it's a common fear, but it's a cognitive distortion sometimes labeled fortune-telling.

I know exactly how u feel. Because I'm constantly worried about my health.  I felt like life jux can't stay happy. Everytime when I feel ok n happy , it's always short lived  and my body wil have some unusual sensation and there goes with nee symptoms and worries starts again .I told myself endless time that this is anxiety disorder but c'mon ! The feelings are there isn't it??? I even told my parents that I feel I won't lived an old age .. Anyways I'm 33

I jux wan to be like all others, live a happy life... I'm not afraid of death , it's the process of dying that scare me. Like example doc tell someone that he is at last stage of big "c" . Then that's the end alright no choice. Wat I always think is the process of going thru the checkings, test etc. then doc say someone at stage one, then operate cannot don operate also cannot ... Get wat I mean??!!! That's the scary thing.. Well having said that I stil hope to live longer.. So I'm battling all the sensations that frequently creep up in me. Whether is a new or old one.. Everthing jux sux...

This is me too. I'm not afraid of being dead, I'm afraid of being sick. My dad was diagnosed with cancer when I was 9 and fought it for 7 years. I think experiencing that in my formative years crossed some wire in my brain somewhere. Anyway, I think most of us here have the same fears you do.

I have always felt this way. when I was a preteen I was certain that I would live to see 18. Then when I made it to 18 I was sure I wouldnt make it to 21. Now here I am at 21 and I feel I wont make it to 30... And now its even worse because I have 2 children and Im terrified of dying and leaving them... I guess its just the nature of this disorder.  It really sucks though.
