So, this is only the 2nd time i've been to this doctor. Think it will be my last.

If you didn't read my post from yesterday, here is what happened:

I woke up at 3am and was hurting a little in my upper abdomen. Thought it was gas and just lay there trying to go back to sleep. It got worse and was so high in my adbomen I thought it might be chest pain. It was all the way across. It went to my upper back and down my right arm and into my throat. It got SO bad I had to get up. EAsed up a little upon sitting. Got up and went to the couch. Well, it would come in waves of really bad pressure/pain and then go away for 5 min or so and come back again. Did this for 5 hours. Now my right side is very sore. I kept thinking maybe gas so I drank hot tea and took gasX. I did burp a lot but it didn't relieve me much. I felt urgency to go to the bathroom but it was just soft stool not diarhea. It was also (tmi sorry) a very pale green color and burned even though it wasn't diarehha.
Other than being very sore on my right mid abdomen and a feeling of a lump in my stomach, I feel better now.

I went to the doctor. She asked all about the symptoms and i told her. She asked what I ate yesterday.

Yogurt smoothie for breakfast
Fresh baby carrots, black cherries and a blueberry yogurt for lunch
Handful of chips and salsa for snack
Baked chicken, aspargus and baked potatoe for dinner
Glass of milk before bed.

I told her on the 1st appt. (which was the only other time I've seen her) that I am a hypo.
She says its not my gallbladder b/c I didn't eat fried or fatty foods that day and no family history of gallbladder issues. I have now talked to 5 friends that all had gallbladder issues and NONE had a family history and each one had different foods (salads, dairy, mints) that triggered attacks.

SOOOO.... knowing i'm a hypo and a heart worrier... she tells me it could have been a mild heart attack and does an ekg. EKG comes back totally normal and she then says "Well, the ekg would need to be done within 6 hours and it's been 8 hours since this began for you. I want to send you for a cardic stress test." I am FREAKED out!!! So, I ask if she really thinks it's my heart and not gallbladder or something else. She says she thinks it *might* be a gastro issue but wants to do the stress test before exploring that! She also said with no diarehha it can't be gallbladder. Guess what? I barely made it home and had horrible, gasy diarehha ALL night.
I even talked to the pharmacist (she told me to get gasx and tums) and she said I had the same EXACT symtoms as her with gallbladder and she had no family history and eating fresh veggies brought her attacks on. She highly recommended I get a new doctor.
I'm was doing SOOOO good with my cardiac hypo (didn't even run to the ER night before last with all the pain) and now she's got me spinning downward again! I think i'm going to call today and just ask her to send me to a cardiologist instead of ordering the stress test and seeing her for the results.

I'm sorry. It doesn't sound like she was very sensitive to your issues. I'll say this. I am the only member of my family sans gallbladder and my first attack woke me up out of a sleep on an empty stomach.

I had my gallbladder out about ten years ago or so ... I had NONE of the classic symptoms.  I had (and still have) a very healthy diet and I eat NO FRIED FOODS.  I'm not obese or overweight (another classic symptom) and nothing in my family ......

A heart attack?  Personally, I'd get a second opinion.
