I am crowning myself the Queen of Denial.
« on: January 14, 2013, 05:41:43 PM »
Throughout my few months here on Anxiety Zone many of you have consoled me during my time of need.

This post isn't about rabies...or heart....or cancer...or any other health issue.

I have hit rock bottom. After many, many years of all the Anxiety and Depression - I have finally gotten so low that I there is only one way but up.

I know this is going to be my "big duh moment" but it wasn't until a few hours ago that I actually realized that I may be indeed be a Hypochondriac. That maybe my doctors/psychiatrists WERE right when they diagnosed me what that years ago. Sadly, I am still having a very hard time sinking in the fact that 99% of the crap I think about (health wise) is nothing but a huge load of junk that my mind has made up.  :dazed:

I just needed to get that off my chest. No need to respond to this topic if you don't want to. Any advice and suggestions are ALWAYS appreciated.

Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."  NKJV, Isaiah 41:10

Congratulations. That is a HUGE first step toward getting better. Good luck to you in dealing with this disorder from here forward! There is hope for people who do the work to truly get better. It takes A LOT of work, but so does being anxious and scared all of the time if you think about it!!  :winking0008:

It's not easy to take a step back from one's own thoughts and fears, as they are part of oneself, but once you can you can begin to do the work needed to improve.
