MILD headache
« on: January 12, 2013, 08:59:30 PM »
Hello, for 18 months ive been getting VERY MILD headaches. Actually its about 90% odd sensation only about 10% pain. For most part I don't take pain killer because its not really needed. I mainly take painkiller to be rid of odd sensation and I notice it addresses it but not always completely because as I said it is mainly an odd sensation, not pain. The odd sensation is not tingling, numbness, or pins and needles. It is like a SLIGHT raw feeling. My drs feel it is sinus/tension, and I do agree. What I feel moves from spot to spot. From front to back and from right to left to base of skull. Sometimes it is twinging. Usually not dull, but not stabbing. One of my big problems is that I tend to catastrophize about brain tumors or something life threatening. My dr says that there ARE sinus cavities in back of head, but most people haven't heard of that. Has anyone heard of that? I just need feedback, Thank You.

Huh.  I didn't know that about sinus cavities.  But mild headaches are generally nothing to be concerned about (have you ever met anyone AT ALL who doesn't get them sometimes?), and if your doctor says it's not serious, listen to the guy!

I have something so similar going on, its drives me nuts! I have taken sinus medicine and have noticed my shoulders are tense so I don't know which one it is! It just moves around everywhere! I am glad I am not alone.
