Ate some mold. Effects?

I was eating some blackberries in the dark.

Dumb move.

Saw some white stuff whilst eating and figured it was paper. After popping some more, found some actual mold growing on the rest.

Naturally, I'm beginning to panic. Will food-mold hurt me? I'm aware of cheeses and such being made of it but... Ugh it's getting to me. I've always been very wary of mold before and then I go and accidentally eat a ton of it.

What will the side effects be? Does anybody know? Has anybody eaten it, before? I'm on anti-biotics and NyQuil right now and I've heard anti-biotics are actually made with mold. Should I still take them? I know none of you are doctors but.. Well, my doctor is currently not available for me to call and ask. Really, I'm asking if anyone else has accidentally consumed it before and what happened when you did.

Don't worry! I really don't think it can hurt you! I just read somewhere that the FDA allows a certain amount of moldy fruit to be in canned fruit! Can't be too bad for you :)

I've ingested some mold in my day.  It never hurt me beyond the psychological trauma of EW MOLD.

Unless you had a severe mold allergy (which you would know within minutes of eating it) I can't think of anything it would do to you other than maybe an upset tummy. You'll be fine!
