Switching from citalopram to celexa, so scared...help anyone ?

Hi everyone I haven't been on for almost two months. I wanted to get away from anything anxiety related until my celexa started kicking in. But, the bad side effects still stayed so my doc wants to switch me to Zoloft. Has anyone had success with Zoloft? Is it going to be difficult coming off one and starting another?

Overnight switches from one SSRI to another are usually relatively trouble free. There may be a couple of moderately rough days so probably best to switch just ahead of a work break, say starting the Zoloft on a Friday evening if not working on the weekend.

What are the persistent Celexa side-effects?

Thanks for the info. I will try evening so I don't notice much of a change. The first week of citalopram was awful for me so I'm just nervous.

For me, the effects of celexa that surpassed the 6-8 week mark was extreme fatigue, and teeth grinding/clenching which would cause me to wake up with horrible migraines since I never had done that before.
