I have been dealing with terrible vision for a few months now. Its hard to explain some of the details i have floaters that dont bother me but the constant afterimages and light sensitivity along with the random flashing lights star bursts do bother me.
My main problem is I find it very hard to read or concentrate on a video game or my phone or computer screen so i cant do any of the things that i love that calm me down. Its like if i look at my computer or tv to play a game for more than 10 minutes my eyes just don't work right for an hour or two. I will go and look in the computer and it is almost like i can only focus on tiny areas like just my eye and the rest of my face is blurry.
I visited the eye doctor today because the glasses that i have give me a headache and do not improve my vision whatsoever this is the 3rd doctor i have been to in the last 4 years and not one of them has given me glasses that worked. While sitting in the chair doing the eye exam they ask you which one looks better 1 or 2 or 1 or 3 and so on. I could read 1 letter on 1 of them the other 5 options i couldnt read any of the letters. I was told my prescription was correct so why could i still not read anything? why dont the glasses work?
This whole ordeal is making me angry i just want to get better and my visual disturbances are something i cant ignore because they are in my face and keeping me from doing the things that help me relax.
I plan on going to a nuerologist next its just a matter of when i will have the money.
