« on: January 07, 2013, 04:29:47 PM »
Hey guys, well im happy to say my anxietys decreased over the last year since ive been on meds..... o havnt been here in a  while but lately im really scared to b alone. Im fine when im around others as i feel if something hsppens to me ie: strokw, heart attack, siezure ect someone will b there to help... the second im alone i become an overanyalizing body checking axiety case ... just waiting  for the worst to happen... usually resulring in a panic attack....

I miss being normal and able to by myself... neone else have this issue? How do u cope?

Yep!  Me too!  and I actually really like being alone.  I try to occupy my mind when I'm alone and really appreciate the aloneness..but I totally understand.

Sometimes just putting on the radio or tv helps me feel not so "alone." and distracts me.

I feel for you, I truly do 'cause I get it.  Hugs.

I also put on the radio or TV for distraction so that I don't feel so alone. I work from home, and husband works regular 9-5 type hours so I am alone most of the day too. It can be scary, especially when you have HA and are analyzing  body symptoms for the majority of the time. Like you said, when people are around I at least feel like they would be able to help me should something go wrong. Try to keep as busy as possible when you are alone..set little goals and task for you to complete that will keep your mind off the lonely feelings.
