Can anyone relate or give me any idea what this was?
« on: January 06, 2013, 06:26:38 PM »
So I was wondering if anyone can relate to this and I know nobody can diagnose me with anything but can anyone give me an idea of what it is?
So almost 2 months ago I fell ill with what I though was a normal stomach bug. But on the 2nd day of having it I had a pain on the right hand side and low down in my chest. I got up and had a drink but it got worse and worse to the point where my chest tightened up and felt like it was about to pop out. Also when I exhaled, it was weird, and hard to explain, the best way I can put it is that it made it go on and off? It felt like I wasn't getting enough air? It was also forcing me to make noises in the middle of breathing as well that I couldn't help.
Pretty poorly explained but I've never heard or read about anything like this? I think this may have also contributed to my anxiety, I fear of waking up with it again because the pain was so immense. I also get chest discomfort and tightness which makes me afraid that it'll happen again.

I've had things somewhat similar, like the feeling of not getting enough air and weird sensations in chest. Are you able to see a doctor? If not you could call a pharmacy or something and see if they have any information. It's strange because a lot of times we get something like this as a result of anxiety, but then it makes the anxiety worse so we say it is causing the anxiety. Anyway, do you smoke? Maybe your not chewing your food enough and eating to fast or to big of bites. I'm no doctor so my best advice is see one if it gets worse. 99% percent sure if it doesn't get worse then it's nothing.
