Rabies Without bite?

How likely is it because I keep freaking myself out and thinking that i am going to get rabies.

You would need to first to come into contact with an animal that had rabies. That alone can be very rare. In all my life I have never ever seen one. If you knew an animal had rabies I think you would be smart enough to stir well clear of it. Not go over and pet it. More chance of you winning your local lottery.
