So hard to explain
« on: January 05, 2013, 04:45:22 AM »
I am laying here in bed afraid to sleep. Today was supposed to be a good day I made myself get up and get ready and went somewhere other than the grocery store or work. Ive been having a lot of vision problems lately visual snow after images and bad light sensitivity. The first store I went to I had to leave after 2 minutes because it was like there was too much going on in my vision. When i finally got back home panic set in because I was walking towards my apartment and it felt as if I wasn't moving like I was walking in place. I think that may have been a depth perception problem but never the less it started a full blown panic attack. I went inside and made food and laid down for some breathing exercises. I then said ok ill try again and got my friend to drive we ran errands ,and things went great .we bought things to make for dinner came home and cooked a healthy meal  but while cooking I started feeling weird it's almost a mixture of dp/dr and depression I just don't feel anything I can't think correctly my brain is moving slowly it is the worst I have ever felt and ive dealt with this off and on for  7+ years I had a fever 3 days ago with sore throat and slept all day the next few days I've had cold and sinus symptoms pressure and now this. I think I needed to get his out here to help me sleep and maybe hear someone tell me there isn't anything wrong with my brain other than depression and anxiety.

Classic anxiety and panic symptoms. The brain is a powerful tool. It can help or hinder you.

I will endure any pain, as long as it has meaning.

This definitely sounds like anxiety. I have had all sorts of visual stuff due to anxiety. Sometimes I have felt like i am looking at everything from behind thick glass. I also have light trails and trouble going from dark to light sometimes.
