Ultrasound today
« on: January 04, 2013, 01:09:17 PM »
So I'm having my scrotal/testicular ultrasound today for the place I found. I am pretty nervous about it. If there was anything bad (hopefully not) then it would show up on the ultrasound even if it is on the backside of the testicle where they aren't running the ultrasound wand thing over, right? I mean pretty much if there is anything bad anywhere on or in my testicle, especially something that has been there for months like the place I felt, it would show up regardless, right? I know I'm doing what an HA person does, but I'm trying not to doubt the test before I even get it. I just always hate the idea of them missing something. I'm sure if there is something there though, it'd show up. Well I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

Well the hard part about the test was finding the darn building. The test was quick and simple, which I figured it would be because I had a groin area ultrasound a few years ago and it was quick and easy. The person who did my one a few years back barely said a word the whole time she was in there, but the girl today was a bit talkative which is okay but kind of awkward while she is rubbing a ultrasound wand over your man parts.  :laugh3: She checked both testes, and the groin area. She told me I should have results around Wednesday of next week. I asked her, while trying not to sound like a hypochondriac, "So if there was a tumor or something in there, the ultrasound would find it, right?". Her reply was simply, "Yeah, more than likely." I probably failed not coming off like a hypo.  :laugh3: I did resist the urge to say "More than likely? I need better assurance than that woman!".
