Made the mistake of Google again
« on: January 04, 2013, 06:54:27 AM »
I made the mistake of Googling something not really thinking anything bad would come of it (male related) and of course it popped up another symptom related to my heart disease fear. It seems all the stuff I keep seeing keep adding up to within 5 years I'm due for a heart attack!

I can't remember the last time my panic was this high. I'm starting to lose sleep over this.

I just checked your post history and you posted here 3 and a half years ago basically certain you had pancreatic cancer. Despite all your certainty, were you ever diagnosed with it? You've been posting a lot lately about your cardiac fears and it seems like you've got nothing to worry about! If you're able to get up and walk 3 miles and feel great, I think you should just walk more! Get that excess adrenaline out.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.

Guilty as charged Evaps. I've also been down the ALS, MS and misc. cancer roads too. Posting is quite therapeutic as my brain works things out.

This heart one just strikes me a little more real than the others. Do I think I'll keel over tomorrow? Not quite. But, on the other hand, I do think if I don't get my 0103 together then I may not see past a few more years.

I have had my anxiety controlled for a couple years, until I googled something again and then my anxiety shot through the roof, so i understand where your coming from!
