HA certainly falls into the OCD category. We are obsessive with our thought sand we perform compulsive actions to try to regain control and ease our anxiety, such as Googling, visiting doctors and having tests done. None of our compulsive actions ease the anxiety because the obsession is still there. Our compulsive actions are only band aid remedies that have to be constantly performed to no avail. We have hope that this next test or this next doctor visit will put an end to our suffering but they never do. Its like chasing the dragon, you never catch it. You have to target the obsession, not its symptom.
I have OCD in other areas as well, besides health.
