Forgive me for not being on lately.... I had my HA under control for a while, but now pretty worried.

I have what I originally thought was (sorry this is gross and unlady like) an ingrown hair/ pimple on my areola.  It has been there since Christmas Eve and I thought if I ignored it and didn't mess with it, it would go away.  Well, I finally checked it again yesterday and it was still there, so I made a bad decision and decided to "pop" it since I thought maybe the ingrown hair would finally surface (since they're usually under the skin and there is usually a small hair there).  Anyway, all this white stuff came out.  SO SORRY to be gross.  Anyway, it finally quit, but I am sure it will come back, as the "pimple" (not sure if that's the right word) is still there.

Anyway, what do you think this could be?  cancer?  I thought it was just an ingrown hair, but now I am not so sure.  I still don't see a hair underneath the skin anyway.   :traurig001:  Please help.

There are sebaceous glands on the areola. Tumors don't pop I would think. See your OB if it continues to bother you

km is probably right - you had a possibly slightly clogged sebaceous gland.  They'll pop if squeezed, but you should leave 'em alone.  They're good things to have; they're supposed to be there.
