internal tingling
« on: January 03, 2013, 10:20:40 AM »
Does anyone get a very weird internal (feels like it's deep inside) tingling throughout your body (mainly in the core but extends to the extremities)? Sometimes it's there all the time and sometimes it's a wave that starts in my chest or stomach and radiates out. It's the most annoying and strange sensation. I don't know how else to describe it.  Just wondering if this is something others get to.

Three possible causes - improper breathing - medications and anxiety

I think I get something similar - starts as a tingle in my chest/stomach area, builds up and then surges out, usually to my upper arms, shoulders and neck. Makes me shiver and shake sometimes too.

I have GAD and taking prozac, I typically blame it on of those (much like many things these days  ) It's strange when I get them, especially when I noticeably react, but I find it less worrisome than palpitations and shortness of breath which I also get.
