The Recovery Road (a poem by me)

The Recovery Road

Twisting, long, winding, narrow..
Trees, grass, no path, a sparrow..
As you first start to walk you see its thick,
Hard to move, you start to stick.
As you continue, as you go..
The path opens up so you can grow.
Hearing the birds, enjoying the scene..
Don't get too comfy this place can get mean.
Stand against the wind that blows you back,
Fight temptation to stay on track.
The recovery road never ends,
Sometimes its straight, sometimes it bends.
One things for sure about this path..
You can enjoy its journey, or feel its wrath.

Holy cow!! You are REALLY good at poems and writing!! This was very well put!! This definitely   put some motivation in my mind!! When I have anxiety attacks, I will remember these words, and hope they help me get through it! Thank you so much for posting!  :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
