I used to work overnights however it definitely exacerbated my anxiety and I had to leave my job due to it.  I definitely understand where you are coming from.

I feel you on that I work 930pm to 3am every night (2:50am for me now, luckily off early)
I don't understand it, im good on a weekend night at home or with buddies but while I'm working my anxiety definitly kicks in. I try to just work harder or put on some relaxing music. Seems to help a little

i usually work overnight (10pm to 6am) but just recently my work schedule has been changed to day shift which has just wreaked havoc on my already messed up sleep schedule that i have because of working graveyard shifts. i actually dont mind graveyard shifts so much because its really slow which means less people i have to deal with and i am not a people person at all i just get so nervous. i really should consider a different job because i work at mcdonalds which requires me to deal with a lot of people all at once for several hours unless im working graveyard.
