Tingling and numbness are one of the most common anxiety symptoms! Tingling can also increase if you're hyperventilating which happens a TON when our bodies get anxious.

It's the adrenaline rush that our bodies release. When we're really anxious, our body perceives danger and triggers our fight or flight system. Normally when that happens, we have a real emergency to deal with and we have an outlet for the huge rush of adrenaline. Anxiety just takes it and lets it fester. That's why physical exercise helps alleviate panic.
