Am I really an hypochondriac?
« on: January 02, 2013, 11:14:38 AM »
In the last days i've been thonking about this.
I see that the majority of the people here have "pulling symptoms", i mean, they aren't the same everyday...

In my case, i have the same symptoms everyday, what change are the diseases:

- Twitching
- Muscle Tension
- Hair Loss
- Flushing
- Gastric problems (reflux and sometimes intestinal problems)
- Insomnia

I don't know, but is it normal for an hypochondriac to have always the same symptoms?

Anxiety can certainly harden into a consistent symptom pattern, sure.

It can keep presenting the same symptoms, especially if you focus on those symptoms.

All of the symptoms that you listed are caused by anxiety and as long as you have anxiety, you will experience the same symptoms. They will last as long as your anxiety does. Anxiety is an illness and it carries symptoms.
