New here, struggling with my belief that I have MS
« on: January 01, 2013, 05:47:25 PM »
Hey guys,
Came here because I feel like I can relate to a lot of the people on this site. A little bit about myself, I am a 22 year old female  :action-smiley-065:, biology major (graduating in one semester) and suffer from chronic anxiety. Now on to why I struggle with my fear that I have MS: it all started a few months ago when my legs would fall asleep constantly and I would get EXTREMELY painful charlie horses (cramps)  in my legs.  This lasted about two weeks and then went away. A few weeks ago, during finals week, my left eyelid started twitching, and this annoying twitch lasted two weeks. Now, I am starting to feel like my face is getting twitchy, and I will wake up in the middle of the night with my arms and legs completely asleep and super numb and tingly.  This will happen to me a couple times a night, and now even during the day, my arms and legs will start to get numb and tingly, and my legs will get random pains.
I am SOOOO terrified that I have MS or some type of neurological problem, and its all I can think about lately. It drives me crazy and drives me to the point of panic attacks. I cant even fall asleep anymore because my body falls asleep so easily and wakes me right up anyways. Can someone please help me :(

Welcome to the forum. Good to have you as a member. Here you are with like minded people. People who understand. As we all suffer from something or other. So feel free to ask any questions. Our members are always willing to help others out. Good chatroom too. 3 posts to enter the room.

Find the correct section of the forum that suits your condition and create a new topic on it. This is just a welcome section. Never really get the same amount of help in this section as you would on the other sections of the forums. So whatever one suits the questions you are asking. Get much better answers.
