reality or anxiety

Does anyone have a good way of determining whether a new "symptom" is real or anxiety driven?

Let me start by saying...I'm not a doctor, I'm just sharing my experience. For me, I've figured out that symptoms which move around my body quickly (chest pains one day, stomach issues another day, dizziness the next day) they are most likely anxiety-based symptoms. Symptoms that go away when I'm occupied are most likely anxiety based. Symptoms that increase when you have "extra time on your hands" are most likely anxiety based. Again...I'm just speaking from my experiences.

is this something you could try to sort out with your doctor? I am finding that doctors can be very helpful with this as long as you are upfront about both the symptoms and the anxiety. good luck.
