Foul Scented Urine

I noticed today, when I went to the bathroom it smelt really weird. I don't recall it ever smelling that strong or strange! I'm not sure what it could be, I got a UTI home test but it said negative. Maybe I should get another and try it again? Anything else this could be?

I've had crazy problems related to that. For a good while I've been using the bathroom more frequently. It was every hour then gradually moved into every two hours. Sometimes I do as good as four hours and feel absolutely pitiful that, at my age, 24, I have to congratulate myself for that. I suspected Diabetes and cancer right off the bat, and after three or four doctor visits within three to four weeks two urine samples came up empty, a glucose blood test returned normal, and an std swab also returned negativel. The peeing thing still continues and I plan to see a urologist in january.

I've always drank alot and peed alot and either I'm really sensitive or somethings up and it is that fact which makes it complete torment. Previously I had a slight allergy problem that caused shallow breathing for a while then a year ago I found a small lump behind my ear no bigger than the tip of a needle which turned out to be nothing, but I am supposing that is what caused it. The mind is a funny thing and I'm afraid it's wreaking havoc on me. Sitting seems to make the condition worse, and scaring me off from drinking liquids at all which is never good. It is ever so tiresome and every time I feel like I'm hitting a breaking point and that my health is failing miserably. My career of choice is filmmaking which while juggling a 9-5 job (which is torment in itself) that may add alot to it. My weekends are NEVER off. I'm isolating other people because of this issue of health (or mental health) and feel to be quite literally making symptoms for myself, ie cramped legs and random headaches.

After all this, the best word to sum up would be a stout and hearty: "Ugh"

The strong smell went away, I'm not sure if it comes and goes for you, but if it comes back I'm most likely going to see the docter!! I guess it could have been something I ate, who know!! Thanks for the reply :]

I had a similar problem a while ago. What was the cure? I stopped smelling it. lol. We have a great internet urologist guy here in Finland, who helps with problems like that, tells what tests to take etc and gives an opinion. I asked about weird smell and he answered something like "Urine is not supposed to smell like flowers, only cure here is to stop smelling it". haha. He was kind of joking, but anyway....

xD This happened not to long ago to be because of a little thing that you put in the toliet tank thats supposed to clean it every flush so i was like why the heck does my pee smell like bleach 
But anyways it can also be caused by certain foods and drinking too much caffeine and/or not enough water. If it keeps bothering you, go to the Dr.'s for a UTI test there just to be sure, but with them you usually have other symptoms as well.
