Feeling like a zombie/dream world

Hello all! I am new to this website but have done alot of reading around on numberous posts. Now i am going to start my own post to get some feedback from ALL OF YOU!  22 year old female.
I have been on LEXAPRO for around 3 years for general anxiety and slight depression. When i first started, the drug was EUPHORIC. Nothing in the world could bother me, i was getting everything done that needed to be done and more, positive attitude...overall just feeling like i was ontop of the world. The drug really did help me come out of a dark place.
3 years later to today, I am beginning to feel a slight zombie/out of sorts feeling. When i am occupied and busy doing things i do not feel this way. But i look foward to relaxing like everyone else. Yet when i do have time on my hands i feel lethargic, tired, unmotivated, and actually kind of sad. I am not sure why i am getting this feeling when i was doing fine on my meds.
I have also been taking lorazepam here and there since I started the lexapro. I Usually take about 1mg. everyday. Not alot but enough to take an edge off. Lately i have been feeling like i need it more, but then again i still feel like a zombie when i take it.
My point of this post is if anyone else suffered from this dreamworld feeling. I dont care or enjoy things like i use to. I need to be on the drug for my sanity, but i want to enjoy life at the same time. Anyone have any suggestions of things i can do or supplements i can take that may motivate me or get my energy up.

I would probably suggest that you check in with your doctor . . . I do not know about Lexapro, but I do have a friend who takes Lorazepam. She was prescribed 1 mg before bed. When she took 1 mg, she would get a great night's sleep from about 10 p.m. to 6 p.m. and then be as you put it a zombie until about 3 or 4 p.m. in the afternoon. She cut back to .5 mg (which her doctor said would not have any kind of an effect) but for whatever reason, she now sleeps from 10 to 6 and is just great for the rest of the day . . . so, I don't know but maybe the combination of Lexapro and Lorazepam may be too much????? In any case, unless you've already checked in with your doctor, I would suggest that you do so . . . please let us know how you are doing, okay? Take care, KC
