Lower back pain and sarcoma fear
« on: December 02, 2012, 09:20:04 PM »
Hi All,

Been a while since I last posted. I seem to have finally moved on from my neurological fears...only to have them replaced by cancer.

I began experiencing lower back pain bout three ish months ago. Hurts more at times than others, and more in certain positions than others. I first became fearful of a reproductive cancer, however after the necessary tests and ultrasounds, that doesn't appear to be the case (knock on wood).

My mind has been reeling with the other possibilities. I have come to rest on soft tissue sarcoma, after much research. I cannot feel a lump on my back, but am afraid that its growing more on the inside, protruding into my abdomen. Lower back pain is really my only symptom...so far.

Does anyone know any info that might help me? Anything at all!

I have a spot on my lower back that hurts off and on.  In fact, it's been hurting bad all weekend.  At first, I thought bone cancer too.  I don't know how
Old you are.  Could be aging, could be a muscle injury.  Maybe something is out and you need to see a chiropractor.  I think my problem is that my a$$ has gotten too big.  :)

Ha! Maybe that's my problem too :)

I'm 35, so in my opinion too young for back issues, though I know it can happen. I'm trying to resist demanding an abdominal ultrasound and an MRI of my lower back. Ultimately, I'm sure ill end up doing both.
