morning tiredness
« on: December 01, 2012, 12:48:44 AM »
I wake up feeling really tired every morning. And at night I have bursts of energy. Is this common with GAD?

It can be. A lot of people seem to come alive at night when they should be resting. Then they wake feeling like they have no slept at all. It is a very common thing. Maybe try a few exercises before bed. Light ones. To burn off the excess energy. Make yourself ready for bed. I am the other way around. I am full of energy in the morning time. Can differ from person to person.

It can also be caused by a thyroid disorder as in hypo or hyperthyroid.
