closterphobic?
« on: October 22, 2007, 10:55:06 PM »
I do not like being in airplanes.
once the door closes, I get anxious.
I try to get an aisle seat.

I hate being in classrooms too.

or the front row in a theatre.

my gf says I am like a deer or horse.
where my fear causes me to want to flee.

she may be right.

I take Paxil 20mg and a multi-vitamin.
it has helped me a lot.  been about two years on Paxil.
Before Paxil, I used to have good days and bad days.  usually more bad days.
Having had anxiety for so long, when I started Paxil, I had to learn to let it work.
while it doesn't prevent all anxiety, it does let me recover quicker from times of anxiety.
I still avoid a lot of situations.  But, I feel I can put myself in more and more activities.
