What video games are you playing?

...Still havent read much above this but what I'm mostly anticipating are: FF XIV: RR if its F2P, FF Versus XIII, GTA 5, KH3 (maybe), Max Payne 3, Uncharted 3 (maybe when it drops in price), (Still haven't played Skyrim) and others I can't think of atm.

Ones that get my nod as worthy to play on consoles: Mass Effect 1 & 2 (even tho I despised how you couldn't grind even if u wanted to after ME 1 bc the exp was all mission based instead of mob or per-enemy based which detracted from being a real rpg, ugh.  I have ME 3 but havent had the heart to play it.  Most of these games listed were when I felt fine, and could get out more.  Now, I just dont have the heart to play them no matter how awesome I feel they tap into the engines of the current gen systems :/  Idk what the deal is, I used to LOVE treating myself to a game) Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 and maybe 3 (2 was better imo but both weren't even possible on the 360s max 1 teraflop but ps3s 2 teraflop and much higher avg floating points per second avg.  I have 360 favs also tho), Soul Calibur 2 and 4 (dreamcast/360 for yoda lol), Mortal Kombat 9, Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, Arkham Asylum (havent played arkham city, one venture was enough imo. didnt feel like arkham city looked like enough of an upgrade to the graphics engine to warrant a purchase, i could be completely wrong tho but I dont want to feel like i'm playing arkham city all over again but with new villians... that doesn't warrant a purchase from me), LA Noire (due to its still never done before perfect motion capture on current gen systems), Gears of War 2 and 3, Demon's Souls (ps3), Fallout (360) FF 2&3 (snes), 7,8,9 (ps1), 10 (ps2), 12 (ps2), 13 (ps3, tho vanille's annoyance about made me quit playing.  I refuse to play XIII-2 bc of the stuuupid moogle.  It completely ruined me even wanting to play it and i about lost all faith in Square-Enix for making such a dumb move), God of War 1, 2, and 3, Metal Gear Solid (ps1) Subsistence (ps2, the ending fight was one with such emotion i've never felt before in any game still to this day, Hideo Kojima is a mastermind) MGS 4 (kinda, yea, I'd give it a nod definitely due to the price of it now), Resident Evil 4 (ps2) 5 (ps3), Red Dead Redemption (ps3), Valkyria Chronicles (ps3), Scarface (ps2), GTA IV (360), Bioshock 1 (360)(Definitely not Bioshock 2, horrible sequel not worthy of Bioshock name), COD World at War (360), Modern Warfare (the original, 360) MW2 (ps3), Civilization Revolution (360), FIFA 07 (360), Halo Wars (360), NBA 2K10, Madden 13, Ninja Gaiden 2 (360), Warcraft 2&3 (pc), Secret of the Solstice (pc), Vindictus (pc), Starcraft 2 (pc), Dragon Nest (pc), Rome Total War (pc), Command and Conquer 2&3(pc), Rise of Legends (pc), Max Payne 2 (ps2), too many others to list.

crap those are a lot of games ! I been playing since Nintendo and super nintendo.

I have a ps3 and xbox. I play mostly sports games like Madden and NBA 2k13 but I began to LOVE the Batman and Assassins creed series. Arkham city is AWESOME I definitely recommend.

I play pc games like Starcraft and civilization 5 from time to time.

Games I would love to play are Assassins creed 3, and GTA 5. I'm so amped for GTA !!

Has anyone ever heard about this one or know much about it?  FF Versus XIII was half the reason I bought a ps3 in the 1st place. It's been 6 years or so and all we have are trailers.  Entire trilogies have come out since its announcement, no joke. Just last year Square finally said they moved all their staff to work on it in full... smh -_-

I've been playing Batman: Arkham Asylum (again) recently. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are great games and I'm excited for the third, but also a bit wary as it might not be up to the same standard... :s

I used to be a big WoW player (I used to love PvE on my resto/boomkin druid), but I stopped playing before MoP came out. What do you guys make of it now? Are the raids worth doing?

I have a ps3. For the past couple of days I've been playing Little Big Planet 2 (I've never played it before). I really like it :-) . Also, I've been playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 a lot. I just got the revolution pack , I love it! The zombie map Die Rise is awesome

Dead Space 3.  Which is honestly TERRIBLE for my anxiety.

Also, Sound Shapes.  One of those kinda artsy indie games, it's a blend of side scroller and rhythm game.  Incredible soundtrack.

my brother recently got a PS3 so I play call of duty every once in a while. I'm not as good as he is, but it's a fun way to kill time. I am also playing NBA 2k13.

I have a preference for fantasy and story based games, but also action/mmorpg's. Skyrim, Diablo III, Guild Wars II have been on my rotation when I find the time and energy. I even busted out Dragon Age: Origins + expansions and have been enjoying that again recently.

Not much time to play Xbox at home, but on iPad I have been enjoying the walking dead. Only on episode four so far. I like it but mostly cause I love the show. When I do get a few to throw down on the ol 360 black ops is good, was kind of disappointed in the story line on 2. Still working on resident evil 5 also, I know it's older but I'm trying to play them all in series. Lol. I am however waiting for the kinect to evolve so they can start making full out combat games. Could you imagine playing black ops having to crouch run and climb in real life. A workout and a lot of fun.
