hello all

i have recently, pretty much out of the blue, started struggling with panic attacks and anxiety. this manifests on a day to day basis with free floating anxiety from time to time,  but what i find even more troubling is the kind of depersonalisation, brain fog type of symptoms which seem to plague me all day and which i can never 'talk' myself out of like i can the anxiety.

i am desperate to do anything to make regain a bit of control of my life, and really want to try CBT as so many people have responded positively to it. at the same time, the thought of medication is terrifying and its side effects and withdrawals realyl scare me. i am wondering if anyone out there has experienced more 'physical' symptoms of GAD/PAD and whether they managed to beat it using therepy rather than medication. or even anyones experiences of tackling the horrible feeling of dissociation.

thanks everyone and take care
