Group Meeting Chaos

Hi everybody

Not sure if anyone has ever attended a group meeting to meet other folks and relate. To me it sounded like a great idea and has been something I've wanted to do for a long while. So I go to this meeting tonight and it was absolutely chaotic. It was only 3 or 4 of us. One person was completely manic in a very bad way. The group organizer was a Hypnotist and a stock trader who was trying to sell his therapeutic services!! The hypnotist had no professional credentials or psychological training whatsoever and it was just a complete disaster.

I just wanted to post this for future reference to anyone. If you find a group just make sure its being run by a registered clinician. I think this could be an awesome form of support & therapy but dangerous with someone posing as a clinician as I saw tonight.
