what are you consuming to assist you in your recovery?
« on: February 06, 2012, 10:47:50 PM »
hey all,

so i did some extensive research and it seems that chelated magnesium works wonders for our nervous systems and overall health!  "chelated" is the key word here.........

im currently taking 2 pills of this a day - each pill is about 115 mg of chelated magnesium.  i take one in the morning and 1 at night.  after doing some further research it seems that a lot of people (doctors' included) say that 400 mg is a good amount to take.........do any of you actually consume this amount and what are your reviews on the pill?  does it work for you?

i also take a B supplement from GNC *General Nutrition Center)  called "Stress B with C" and i take it normally when i feel an anxiety attack coming on.  do any of you take b supplements??  do you find it works?

i read on another forum member that B supplements might not be beneficial to our anxiety?? anyone else hear the same thing??? please explain

Hi there liveitup,

I have had some friends that have had success with magnesium, though my friend took it mostly for physical wellness and not really for the sole purpose of anxiety.  I think it alleviated some of the physical symptoms and issues she was having.

Let us know how things go as you continue to take and as you make your recovery.

:)
