I AM SCARE EVERYTIME I LEAVE MY HOUSE ALONE

cant beat the feeling that i am just a wimp  :fragend005: i make myself go out every day to walk the dog and sometimes i go charity shopping i wish i could enjoy going out tho. fear is never fun  i need CBT therapy an cant have in it my area and lately that has been making me feel angry i dont want to feel angry so have just stopped but feel like i'm being let down by the mental health services. is anyone else out there like me? maizie :happy0151:

I'm sorry that you're feeling this way.  I don't think you're a wimp at all.  You're going through something that is very real for you.  You mentioned that the mental health services field has let you down or that you don't have access to it.  Are there any other programs that you're aware of that can help you.  If you follow a certain religion, would you consider speaking to them to help sort out your feelings.  Not saying that you need to do this, just thought it might be an alternative.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm exactly the same way. Everytime I'm out alone I'm on edge and preoccuped with my own worries at best and having a panic attack at worst. It's the most frustrating thing to feel so helpless and alone when there is no danger and people around. I beat myself up about being a coward too, especially when I'm too embarassed to tell my friends that I can't even get on a bus anymore. That makes me feel like I'm 'wrong' somehow but I know I'm not.

I'm sorry there is no CBT in your area. I have found that audio books on anxiety have helped me quite a bit and could be an option until something better comes alone.
