ginkgo for vertigo and dizziness

I have been researching herbs lately, and have discovered that people use ginkgo biloba to treat vertigo and dizziness (as well as other things like ashtma, alzheimers, and MS). Has anyone ever taken this herb to try to treat their dizziness? Just curious...
