I think I'm having a breakdown...

I'm totally losing it. I was doing so well there for a while, but decided to go back on meds because I felt my panic issues coming back. So, being the psycho that I am (med phobic) I decided to take a half of a half pill. Zoloft 50mg, so I guess that's only 12.5mgs. Its also that time of the month when my HA is bad anyway.  I just feel like I have so many symptoms, that this can't all be HA though. I feel awful all of the time. I've got lumps in my inguinal area (bikini line) under the skin, a swollen node in my neck, I can't go half an hour without needing to pee (like really, really bad) another horrible lump on my foot. Good lord, the list goes on & on. We don't have insurance so I can't just keep going back to the Dr. and when I do go, I feel like if I rattle of all of this stuff they just think I'm a nutjob and up my meds. Ugh, sorry. I just need to vent I guess. I just have to stop doing this. My life is a wreck & I don't know how to fix it. I can't do anything, but sit here & be terrified of the world. I just want to crawl in a hole.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time.     Was it your decision to go back on your meds and decide on a dosage?

Yeah, I was on celexa for about 2 years, but stopped because of all the side effects I was having. Plus, I just don't like taking pills, ya know? I did really well for about 4 months, but I could feel certain things coming back so decided that I probably should take something. My Dr prescribed sertraline 50mg, but this is only the 2nd day I've taken it, and that's only the 12.5. I was hoping to avoid any nasties in the beginning. Epic fail.

Gotcha.  Well, as you know, SSRIs can be a bear during the first week!  Try and hang in there!  :)

Anxiety can definitely make you feel as if you have to go to the bathroom. 

I have done it quite a bit in the past - I inadvertently bear down on my lower abdomen thereby creating the "urge" to urinate feeling.

When I'm really nervous or anxious, I have to pee ALOT!  And if it's cold - watchout!!!! LOL

We tend to focus on every little symptom we have when the anxiety strikes.  Take a deep breath ..... and be patient with the med.  Take awhile to kick in.
