well since chat has been down i have enjoyed spending time here on the forum. I t has helped me a little. I realize more of how many others have almost identical issues to myself. also being able to let others know that they r not alone also helps. But i also find by reading the forum how messed up i feel because  i do have so many different disorders and how many i can relate to. I can look at this as discouraging or encouraging. so if i am helping others then i am encouraged but knowing how messed up i am i am discouraged. does any of this make sense or is this just part of my many issues?

You only have the disorders you have been diagnosed byfrom your doctor.  As anxiety people we attend to self diagnose ourselves thinking we have this an that..we cannot do that as it creates more anxiety...........Hold your head high........things will get better :happy0151: :happy0151: :happy0151:

I would think people would rather be diagnosed rather than self diagnosed. its bad enough to have any disorder and worse to have multiple disorders. self diagnosis is not a good thing, and i think doctors have been having a blast diagnosing me. lol anyways i hope no one tries to self diagnose themselves. leave it to the docs. i always knew i had issues just didnt know what and over the last few years doctors have came along way with me and i still have a ways to go to get better.

i do need to clarify though that with health anxiety we always do think the worse and fear the worse.. it does make that worse. i try not to but sometimes i do fear the worse. i do need to clarify that. with my other issues i wouldnt even have thought to diagnose myself with what the docs have come up with including health anxiety. when i fear the worse i ask my doctor. usually after im scared..
